#1 – If your dog loathes being dressed as Yoda, don't force him to. Respect their dog-ness and tell people he's dressed as a selfie enhancer and invite them to take a selfie with your dog
#2 – If your dog will be wearing that pinterest worthy costume, remember to make sure…
• Your dog can see, hear, breathe, pant, drink and pee easily
• There are no small bits that can be chewed off and swallowed (by him or another dog or kid)
• Have dress rehearsal before Halloween
#3 – Have Fun! But, if the festive Halloween garb stops being fun for your dog – take the costume off immediately. Fun, funky, viral dog costumes are a blast for us all to see, but a safe halloween dog costume is the #1 priority.
As a business owner, I get a LOT of requests for guest blog posts. As I rule I don't do them for lots of reasons, but this one caught me eye. Maria, from Roto-Rooter, emailed and shared some info on their Pet Rescue program and I was all in!
