PAW BUTTER

DRY DOG PAWS

PAW BUTTER OFFERS MOISTURIZING SUPPORT FOR ROUGH, DRY DOG PAW PADS

The Blissful Dog PAW BUTTER is TLC for your dog's rough, dry paw pads. PAW BUTTER provides layers of moisturizing support for your dog's rough, dry paw pads.

Sure, your dog’s paw pads are strong and tough, but they still need paw-pampering! Trotting beside you on hot pavement or through snow and ice will brutalize your dog’s paws. In the winter the salt and chemicals used to remove ice from sidewalks are harsh on your dog’s paws and in the summer sidewalks are HOT!

Dogs living the country life have to deal with brambles, stickers, thorns and all else Mother Nature throws their way. Even the hardest working ranch dog needs paw support.

Complete tips, hints and more info on our ingredients is found in the TABS below.

PAW BUTTER is individually handcrafted by my crew and I right here in far northern Minnesota using all organic and natural good stuff: shea butter, beeswax, castor oil, avocado oil, almond oil, cocoa seed butter, coconut oil, olive oil, plus a rich oil infusion of St. John’s Wort Oil, Calendula Oil, Comfrey Oil, essential oils (cedar wood, cypress and lavender) and a LOT of LOVE. Every item is tucked into a gift bag and sent to your dog with the best of healing intentions and complete tips, hints and instructions.

BEFORE AND AFTER USING PAW BUTTER

Our Lab buddy below was unable to walk more than a 2-3 feet before PAW BUTTER. The paw pad hyperkeratosis had gotten so advanced, he literally could barely walk. His loving owner had tried everything and was at her wit's end when she called me to order PAW BUTTER. Of course, we were all delighted he responded so wonderfully. And yes, nice long walks are the highlight of his day now. Well, after dinner, treats and a paw massage, that is!

    2. SHEA BUTTER is known for its ability to moisturize skin and to help retain the elasticity of skin. Shea butter has also been known to help protect the skin against the damaging effects of the sun while repairing cellular degeneration. Our shea butter is refined and deodorized without the use of harsh chemicals, allowing the shea butter to keep its amazing healing properties.
    3. COCOA SEED BUTTER softens at body temperature and adds a rich, creamy, thick consistency to our butters. Note: There is none of the active ingredient in dark chocolate in the Cocoa Seed Butter we use. So, no harm to your precious dog!
    4. ALMOND OIL is best known for its ability to soften, soothe, and re-condition the skin. It made from raw almond kernels and exceptionally rich in fatty acids.
    5. AVOCADO OIL is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E, plus, avocados can provide skin with deep moisture. The avocado oil penetrates the skin but is also thick enough to serve as a protective barrier.
    6. COCONUT OIL is a renowned general moisturizing oil and serves as a protective layer, helping to retain the moisture in your skin. It is great for inflamed and irritated skin, and those with skin sensitivities.
    7. CASTOR OIL is a hard, shiny oil that acts as a “barrier agent and protective medium against harsh conditions and extremes.” Note: There is none of the properties of the ricin that has been in the news (and Breaking Bad). The process that makes it oil eliminates that possibility.
    8. BEESWAX is a wonderful substance secreted by worker honeybees. Beeswax has a higher melting temperature, so it helps the various butters keep their shape and ship better. PAW BUTTER has more beeswax to better protect your dog’s paws
    9. OLIVE OIL plumps and moisturizes nose tissue with a combo of vitamin E and A. Dry, itchy skin is also often relieved by using olive oil.
    10. CALENDULA OIL Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, & anti-bacterial, Gentle, cooling & soothing
    11. COMFREY OIL General healing agent, Contains binding tannins for quick healing and Contains allentoin - connective tissue stimulant
    12. ST. JOHN’S WORT OIL Relieves inflammation and promotes healing, often used topically to treat bruises, burns, insect bites and scabies
    13. ESSENTIAL OILS We use a light dash of essential oils in the lightly scented version, more for the energetic properties rather than the scent, as we respect our dog’s sensitive sense of smell. The oils used are; Cedarwood for grounding, Cypress for connection to the earth and Lavender for stress reduction.
    14. SAFE FOR YOUR DOGS AND OURS My very un-legally worded official disclaimer: If you Google a bit you'll find histrionic website articles about "fill in the blank with virtually anything" being bad for you, your dog, the environment and baby unicorns. There are NO active ingredients in our products. PAW BUTTER won't hurt your dog if they lick some off or each the whole tin. That said, they don't need the calories or all that concentrated fat, so put it away!
    15. Of course, there is the very slight possibility of an individual dog having an individual reaction to an individual ingredient. If your dog has any symptoms of irritation etc. after using any of our products, stop using them.
