BULLMASTIFF NOSE BUTTER® MOISTURIZING TREATMENT FOR YOUR BIG BUDDY'S ROUGH, DRY NOSE
Bullmastiffs are a perfect example of form and function working hand in hand. Bred from the Mastiff and the old style Bulldog, the Bullmastiff epitomizes strength and purpose and is a stellar blend of both.
My father used to talk about the Bullmastiff being the best dog EVER. To a kid in the 60s in rural Mississippi they sounded so exotic. I dreamed of actually seeing one someday. Funny what you remember, isn't it?
Both Mastiffs and Bulldogs have a tendency toward having dry or crusty, even cracked noses. Of course, Bullmastiffs inherited that predisposition from both sides of the canine family. A bit of dryness, some roughness to the texture of the nose can be easily controlled with Bullmastiff NOSE BUTTER®. If your Bullmastiff’s nose is covered with a harder crusty, almost scab-like tissue, Nasal Hyperkeratosis may be the culprit. More on that condition in tabs below or click HERE. The good news is NOSE BUTTER® works for all types of Bullmastiff nose issues FAST!
YOUR BULLMASTIFF WAS BRED TO GUARD HUNDREDS OF ACRES OF FORESTS
Your Bullmastiff’s sense of smell is one of his Bullmastiff Superpowers. With one sniff he can gather as much info as we can in 20 minutes of intense Googling! A moist, healthy nose attracts and grabs the info carrying scent particles like flypaper, bringing your dog all the news thats fit to sniff. If your Bullie’s nose is dry, she will lick and lick to try and moisten it. Of course, just like when we lick chapped lips, it will get worse. Did you just lick your lips? I did.
While your Bullmastiff may not guard anything more than his food bowl or fave spot on the sofa, there are still centuries of breeding to guard his people. His DNA is hardwired to be on his toes and watching out over whatever he is in charge of protecting.
WHY A HEALTHY, WET NOSE IS A BIG DEAL TO YOUR BULLMASTIFF PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY & EMOTIONALLY
One of the main ways that dogs gather info is via their sense of smell. Your Bullie throws that big head up and takes a deep sniff. This lets him know that the guy down the road is changing the oil in his vintage Chevy, your son has pizza hidden under hid bed (again) and the UPS truck just turned down your road and the UPS driver is dreading coming to your house. All that from one big sniff.
If your Bullmastiff’s nose is cracked and crusty he won't be able to sniff up all the juicy smells floating by. A moist nose is like smell catching flypaper and grabs all the scents onto its damp surface. Obviously, a crusty nose is not going to snag much in the way of info. NOSE BUTTER® moisturizes the nose leather, getting it back into info-gathering shape FAST.
NOSE BUTTER® for your Bullmastiff will have him swaggering around your estate, err backyard, in days. Not only does your Bullmastiff look better and feel better physically, but regaining his ability to gather info properly via his newly moist nose will boost his confidence and self-esteem. I know it may sound out there, but your dog will be more confident, relaxed and in control when his senses are firing on all cylinders.

NASAL HYPERKERATOSIS INFO
NASAL HYPERKERATOSIS AKA CRUSTY CRUD, BARNACLE NOSE
Is your dog’s nose EXTREMELY dry? Does it look like barnacles are growing on it? Are there layers or chunks of crust that crack and bleed? If your dog’s nose could be described as extremely dry, or looks like the BEFORE noses in the image above, it may be Nasal Hyperkeratosis. Rest assured, it is not caused by diet, genetics, playing in the dirt or anything you can control.
Nasodigital or Nasal Hyperkeratosis is an idiopathic condition, which means unknown cause ¯\(°_o)/¯ that is marked by the excessive formulation of nose crust that vets call keratin, (vet-speak for protein). It actually IS layers of skin tissue that has grown wild over on the nose. This condition isn't life-threatening and most veterinarians consider Nasal Hyperkeratosis cosmetic. But there are medical, cosmetic and mental health reasons that this dry nose condition can affect your dog's well being. It has to be uncomfortable for your dog. Your dog cannot breathe as easily. It’s unattractive, of course.
Most importantly, your dog is not getting the scents and smells they ned to feel secure and confident. A healthy moist nose snags good smells that float by and provide your dog with info. A dry nose is not going to capture the info packed smells. This can lead to frustration and a lack of self confidence. Your dog knows info is out there, but he cannot get it. Like us looking for a gas station in a sketchy neighborhood with ZERO bars on our phone. MORE INFO HERE.
