Like many of the other toy dogs, many Maltese have a bit of a dry nose. If your Maltese has an extremely dry nose with crusty tissue, they may have a condition called Nasal Hyperkeratosis. While there is no cure for Nasal Hyperkeratosis, the good news is Nose Butter will help get your dog's nose back into healthy condition and regular usage then maintains it.
Your Maltese may not be trailing escaped convicts or flushing pheasants, but having a healthy nose is still important for them. Your Maltese gets much of the information they need to make good decisions by sniffing the scent laden air. They need a healthy nose to be able to retrieve the info they need. My Pomeranian has a very dry nose if I'm not using Blissful Dog nose butter! Seriously, I've tried many others and this nose butter is just magical. My dog's nose is soft, wet and no more dry cracks. It worked exactly as advertised. My Husky’s nose got all crusty on too had no idea what it was. Did a Google search and came across the before and after photos on this website and said, that’s exactly what issue my dog has! I gave it a shot and it worked perfectly. I’ve tried everything to fix my English Bulldog’s dry, cracked nose and this is the first thing that actually works!
