Lust Buster Butter helps take the edge off your dog's studly wanna-be intentions long enough for you to show him, train him, run rally or perform other activities that require his attention. It is intended for usage for SHORT PERIODS of time.
This WILL NOT keep your intact male away from a girl dog in heat in your home for days on end. We would rather you not buy this product if that is the situation. Nothing can stop raging hormones!
Ingredients; shea butter, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, beeswax, cocoa seed butter and a dash of peppermint essential oils.
Peppermint is the chosen deterrent. Most dogs do not like peppermint scents, but it is strong enough to deter them. It won't irritate their nose like some harsh oils can. Clove and cinnamon are much too intense to be used on a dog's nose and can actually burn the tissue.
Cloudy used Lust Buster at a Working Group dog show this past Friday. It worked! He kept his nose out of the grass walking to the ring, in the ring, and back to the set
up. My left shoulder thanks you as I didn't feel it was going to pop out of socket from fighting him to hold his head up. This product is AMAZING! Thanks so much.
Lust Buster - I’m impressed!
Hi! I go to dog obedience classes and dog agility practices with my intact Golden Retriever, Wincent. In recent months, he was becoming increasingly distracted by certain females in my groups. I tried your product and I must say that it truly helps to keep him focussing on me. I smear the Lust Buster on his nose before starting class and we’re good for about half an hour. I put more on his nose for the last half of our class and no more problems with distractions from other dogs. Thank you for making my life much easier (and less stressful) when working with my canine buddy! Sylvia
Good service but product was not effective. Also expensive for a very tiny amount of product.
Lust Buster is our one product that is the toughest to explain properly. I try, but I wish I could better convey that it is only going to work for short periods of time. And some dogs that are VERY testosterone-driven may shake it off and keep relentlessly pursuing the object of their affection.
We sell a lot of it and have many satisfied customers, but again, it is a tough challenge to help our customers with effectively. If we made is super strong or used oils that are spicier, Ginger, for example, it could irritate their nasal passages and be uncomfortable or even hurt their nose. That's not what we want to do.
Believe me, I have lived with a couple of boy dogs that were pretty determined. The whining, pacing, drooling and all the other histrionics were annoying, to put it politely. But, we can't sell anything with the potential for harm, as I'm sure you agree! Oops, I rambled a bit (a lot). I hope you have survived this time with your dogs with your nerves intact! Kathy PS - I am so proud of myself for not making any 5th-grade level joes. Anyone who knows me and reads this will be amazed!
This product and this company is amazing.
No, YOU'RE amazing! Amazing for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. Thank you! Thank you! _Kathy
