Paw Butter Moisturizes and Conditions Your Dog's Blissful Paws

Using Paw Butter

Using Paw Butter

Our #1 Best Bliss Tip is to warm Paw Butter up before application. using for faster absorption

DAB on your dog's paw

DISTRACT to keep them from licking it off REPEAT 2-3x daily for 1-3 days or until improvement

DONE Use as needed for maintenance (1-2x a week)

Non-toxic, no active ingredients & no harm if licked. Because dogs are gonna lick!

Keep your dog off of furniture, bedding, carpet or vulnerable hardwood floors after application. Absorption times may vary depending on how dry their paw pads are, how much product was used, and the surface they are walking on.

If you do notice residue from their buttered paws test an inconspicuous spot with a gentle dishwasing liquid and water mixture. If it is to your satisfaction, clean the area. If possible, check the manufacturer's recommendations, most of that info is online now.

Gone are the days of saving those booklets in 12 languages and then never finding them when you need them.

Rumor has it that there are actually dogs who graciously allow their minions (us) to massage Paw Butter into their pads.

It is also said that these rare dogs wait for exactly 15 minutes before placing a freshly buttered paw on the ground AND would never, ever lick their buttered paws.

In Real Life, some dogs flail around like crocodiles being pinned. Others scream and screech until the police knock on your door. Some exact revenge. Hide your shoes, hide your handbag, hide your briefcase.

Here are a few tips for surviving Paw Butter application for thosedogs.

Distract before, during and after with treats (use anything they crave, often the smellier the better, wet cat food, peanut butter, tuna, etc.).

Many dogs do not like having their feet controlled (or even touched called petaphelaphobia) as their flight option is removed from fight or flight.

For those dogs, or any dog bigger than lap-sized, let them stand and hold up each paw like shoeing a horse to apply the Paw Butter.

I've heard of slings used to control their dogs for nail trimming, which would work great for Paw Butter application. MY HERO! Check this out! GENIUS!

We've been asked why a dog would need their paws pampered. People say, "Aren't their paws supposed to be tough?"

Of course, your dog's paw pads need to have a certain degree of toughness. Their paw pad is their protection as trot along beside us.

Working dogs, such as search and rescue dogs, true service dogs, working farm dogs, military dogs, and all of the other dogs with a job need paw protection. Many of those dogs wear special boots/shoes.

Our companion dogs each have different levels of activity from sofa surfing to jogging or hiking buddies. Many of those paws need some pampering!

Paw Butter application allows us to not only condition and moisture their paw pads, but also examine them for any foreign bodies or injuries.

Tips for Longer Shelf Life for Your Paw Butter

Our products have a shelf life of three years, when stored under proper conditions.

• Store inside a cabinet, pantry or cupboard
• Do not store in the bathroom, as humidity is detrimental to shelf life
• Temperature should be from 65-77°F
• Product can be refrigerated, but is not recommended, as it will be harder to apply
• Do not rub your dog’s nose/paw/elbow/random body part directly into the tin of product, as potential for contamination is greatly increased (this is the #1 cause of lowered shelf life)
• After using the tube of product wipe any dirt/skin off of the tube

Paw Pad Hyperkeratosis

Paw Pad Hyperkeratosis

Many dogs have a condition known as Paw Pad Hyperkeratosis or Foot Pad Overgrowth. This is just what it sounds like. Something makes the skin on your dog's paw pads grow out of control.

Just as so many dogs have Nasal Hyperkeratosis, this is the same frustrating condition but on paw pads.

Veterinarians consider this an idiopathic condition. This means they have no idea what causes it.

There are some ideas about causes, such as an immune system that is weakened or stressed or breed predisposition. But no one knows for sure.

We've had customers whose dogs were rendered unable to walk due to this condition.

The Good News is Paw Butter can help control the symptoms aka the overgrowth.

We've had customers whose dogs were rendered virtually unable to walk due to this condition.

Regular usage of Paw Butter can help get and keep this condition under control. Without surgery, without costly medications or recuperation periods for your dog.

Apply as outlined in the Using Paw Butter Section. Just 2-3 times a day until you see the chunks start to loosen and come off.

Improvement is usually seen in just a few applications, but it can take 2-3 weeks of consistent usage to see the tissue crumble away.

One more caution...don't pick! The crust is skin tissue and will hurt your dog if you pick at it. Then they will equate Paw Butter with pain and nobody wants that.

Keep in mind - Paw Pad Hyperkeratosis is a CONDITIONwhich means Paw Butter can heal the overgrown tissue, but NOT cure the condition.

The good news is Paw Pad Hyperkeratosis can be controlled and kept at bay by using Paw Butter regularly.

Think of it like this...people have to reapply sunscreen to be protected. You can't use it on the first day of vacation and be protected for the whole week.

Paw Butter may be a part of your dog's health care regimen. Just as those pesky toenails have to be cut and ears cleaned.

Awesome product!

Our dog had dry pads due to the winter weather. I applied the Paw Butter once a day for a few days in a row, and his paws are MUCH better. I'll apply every few days for maintenance.

I have 2 frenchies and they absolutely adore this for their little paws ❤️.

I have the cutest mental picture of y'all have Frenchie Fun Time and them getting their paw massages. Oh, the fun of spoiling our Frenchies. It's part fo the fun of having a dog, isn't it? -Kathy

Amazing!

So impressed with this stuff. Love that it is all natural. My French bull dog had cracked paws and they are all healed now! So thankful!

Hi Amanda, thank you for letting us know how well your dog is doing with your Frenchie's paws. I always think how many times a day those paws on their short legs hit the ground! -Kathy PS - Sorry it took me a bit to say thank you, I got behind on everything. Ugh, I gave up and bought new sheets and towels to have one less thing - hehehe.

Paw butter for nose

I tried the nose butter on my boxer and it didn't work, so I tried the paw butter in his nose and it has been 5 days with using it and his nose is almost back to normal. He has been dealing with a crusty nose for 3 years until now. This year it was getting worse. The picture I took of his crust nose was in October 2020. I didn't take a picture before I started using the paw butter last week. I tried the blissful nose butter on his nose first and it didn't work, so that's why I decided to use the paw butter. I will start using the paw butter on his paws starting tomorrow to see if it works on his paws. I love the tube because I don't have to use my fingers.

Thank you so much for letting us know how it worked out for your Boxer. That nose looks sooo much better and more comfortable. I'm so glad you tried something different with using the Paw Butter. Thank you again for sharing. -Kathy PS - My apologies for the delay in replying. I got behind...no excuse, I just did.
