The Dogo Argentino was initially bred for South American big-game hunting, such as wild boar and jaguar. They had to catch the scent of the prey and track the game as they ran in hot pursuit.
Like many Mastiffs, Dogos often have dry nose issues, the dryness can range from just a little bit dry to acutely dry, a condition, Nasal Hyperkeratosis, in which the actual skin of the nose grows aggressively creating layers of scab-like crust. The good news is...you found us and we've got your Dogo's nose covered.
