But Boston Terriers were bred to have a very specific set of skills, skills they acquired over decades of dedicated breeders refining them, skills that made them a nightmare for rats. Yes, Boston Terriers were bred to find and dispatch vermin aka RATS. Thankfully, Boston Terriers have moved on to better jobs, that of our best friends and companions.
