In 2011 Cairo, a Belgian Malinois and a Navy Seal, was sent on a mission with their handler, W. Chesney. They were first on the ground in Pakistan in the operation that captured Osama bin Laden. His handler wrote a book about Cairo, No Ordinary Dog.
Talk about Multi-Tasking! The Belgian Malinois works as police and military, explosives and drug detection, search and rescue, and as service dogs. They also excel at Schutzhund, agility, obedience, rally, dock diving, field and retrieving trials, lure coursing, to name a few of the sports they rule.
