Summer fun brings fun at the lake, picnics at the park, longer walks with your best buddy and one unwanted event - bug time. Here in Minnesota we get a few precious weeks between snow season and fly season. The sight, or sound, of that first mosquito or fly marks the start of the War Against Bugs. One of the battles we face as loving dog people is annoying, biting bugs. From fleas to flies and everything else, we wage war against bugs.
The dilemma is the chemical stuff that is deadly to bugs is, well, chemical stuff that is deadly. BUG OFF is our kinder, gentler approach to getting rid of pesky insects, or at least holding them at bay for a bit.
We are not going to swear after one use of BUG OFF products you will not ever see any insect near your dog ever again, but we will swear BUG OFF is an effective alternative to the harsh, chemical laden products you may have seen.
INGREDIENTS: Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Beeswax, Olive Oil, Neem Oil + Our natural blend of essential oils; Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Citronella, Geranium and Rosemary work together for bug banishing power.
Apply liberally to areas bedeviled by biting bugs. For most dogs that is their ears, paws, legs and nose (for dogs with regular snout length). Use caution when applying around eyes. While not harmful, BUG OFF BUTTER could sting eyes. Use in conjunction with whatever products you and your vet determine are appropriate for your area and level of bug-madness.
Dab On, Distract & Done. Reapply as needed.
Safe to use on dogs and puppies over 12 weeks of age. There are no active ingredients, just all natural herbal bug repelling oils in a carrier base of our butter blend.
Note: We make no claims to be able to vanquish ticks. Those blasted bugs will survive the Apocalypse...ticks, I loathe them.
All of the different buggy dog breed labels available are just for fun. Some a photographer friend had taken and others kept me out of trouble for hours hunkered down with my friend Photoshop. BUG OFF BUTTER is all the same product, the labels are JUST FOR FUN. Don't see you breed? We have our Mixed Breed Bug Dog and a Buggy Duo.
